Cosmic Backyard grew from a simple conviction: the most important songs don't merely entertain; they invite us to think, wonder, and see the world a little differently.
   Some songs explore artificial intelligence and the future. Others reflect on faith, Christmas, family, discovery, or the quiet moments that shape our lives. Together, they ask what it means to be human in an age of extraordinary change.
About Me
I'm Glenn Stockton – a husband, father of two, grandfather of ten, retired entrepreneur, and lifelong learner.
   After careers in graphic design, advertising, and building an internet business, I discovered something unexpected. AI made it possible to bring to life songs I had imagined for years but could never fully create on my own. Some began as poems or melodies I played imperfectly on my six-string guitar decades ago. Others are new ideas that seem to arrive with surprising regularity. Together with patience, revision, and the remarkable tools AI now provides, they've become songs I never thought I would be able to create or share.
   I'm not a professional musician, nor an AI researcher or engineer. I'm simply someone who enjoys asking questions and exploring them through music, hoping each song invites others to pause, reflect, and perhaps see something familiar in a new way.
Why AI?
Artificial intelligence is one of the most significant technologies of our lifetime. Much of the conversation has focused on what AI can do. I'm more interested in what it asks of us.
  These songs aren't about predicting the future. They're about protecting the qualities that make us human: curiosity, compassion, faith, forgiveness, creativity, and love.
   AI is one of the instruments I use, alongside writing, imagination, and many hours of editing and refinement. Every song begins with a human idea and is carefully shaped into its final form.
